Avalon Exhibits was founded in Wilmington, Delaware in the late 1940’s as Display Arts, working primarily in retail design and construction. In the period up to the late 1950's, Display Arts gradually transitioned from the retail market to exhibit development and in 1986, the firm was purchased by Tom Iacovone and Ray Montague. From 1986-1998, Display Arts was transformed into a $22 million company and merged with Folio, a national exhibit group, in 1998. In June 2002, the original assets were purchased by the former Display Arts management team, and Avalon Exhibits was formed in June 2002 providing a seamless transition of services for our long-term clients. Avalon has operated continuously in live marketing and environments for over 50 years.
