Basell is the world's largest producer of Polyethylene and Polypropylene polymers and is a jointly owned company of Shell and BASF. The Basell NPE booth was located in prime position at the entrance of the McCormick Place South Hall.

NPE presented a prime opportunity to display the Basell brand for the first time at NPE. The booth occupied a peninsula space of 3,600 sq. ft. (822 sq. m.) and comprised a two level structure and lounge, meeting rooms, information terminals, hospitality cafe and industry application modules.

In addition, to provide a prominent branding statement, a high global-wall structure with rotating globe (showing over 120 worldwide Basell locations) was located in the front corner of the booth.
