Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology houses a treasure of 30,000 pieces representing the ancient heyday of the Etruscans, Greeks and Romans. The museum, in existence since 1899, last renovated its Mediterranean suites in the 1950's. On completion the Museum Director, Jeremy A. Sabloff said the renovation gives the artifacts "the venue they deserve".
